F.A.C.S. provides specialist commercial pig and poultry nutrition (layers, breeders, broilers, turkeys and ducks) to an established client base in Europe, Asia Pacific and South America.

FOOD SAFETY IN THE ANIMAL FEED INDUSTRY
Jon Ratcliff is recognised as one of the worlds leading experts on risk assessment and risk management in animal feed production. He pioneered the development and implementation of HACCP within the feed industry in the UK and Europe and has been instrumental in its development throughout other important agricultural regions such as Asia Pacific and South America. HACCP applications have been extended by F.A.C.S. to cover the complete animal production chain for all species, including aquaculture from farms, hatcheries and feed mills through to slaughter and processing.

FOOD INDUSTRY AUDITING
F.A.C.S. is the official Approved Service Provider for NSF CMi, in Asia Pacific. NSF CMi is the UKs largest international certification body – link www.nsf-cmi.com Based in Bangkok, F.A.C.S. operates a team of local auditors specialising in certifications for chicken and processed meats, fruit and produce and seafood. A specialist livestock auditing programme is available in S E Asia and S America, covering poultry, swine, dairy, beef and aquaculture.

SUPPLIER AUDITING
In January 2009, F.A.C.S. opened an office in Beijing to provide a bespoke second party supplier auditing service in China. A team of local auditors carry out audits on behalf of a range of international clients based upon risk assessment and traceability. A similar service is planned for Brazil later in 2009.

TRAINING
A complete range of training services are provided by F.A.C.S. throughout the food and feed industries enabling companies and countries to satisfy the demanding requirements of both domestic and export markets. Clients have included the ministries of agriculture in Brazil and Thailand.
